The Rodats skating school from Barcelona, is pleased to present the IFSA Championship 2008. An event, which has been gathering for several years, skaters from around the World, who show the highest competition levels in freestyle.
This year the competition in Spain takes place, once more, in Barcelona. The days chosen for this event are the 20th and 21st of September 2008.
The championship will take place this year in the Parque del Clot (C/Escultors Claperós with C/Cabanyal), a big outdoor area that is able to welcome an event of such characteristics. The park is located very close to the centre of Barcelona, beside the Plaza de las Glorias and between the Avenida Meridiana and the Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanas, two of the main roads to access the city.

How to go from the airport to the centre of Barcelona:
* By train: This is the fastest way. There is a RENFE line, the C10, that connects the Barcelona airport and the centre of the city. Trains run every half an tour and the journey takes 25 minutes. There is a stop at Sants Station (connecting with Metro Line 3-green and Line 5-blue) and another stop at Passeig de Gràcia (connecting with Metro Line 2-purple, Line 3-green and Line 4-yellow), 5 minutes from Plaza Catalunya.
* By bus: You can also take the Aerobus, a bus that will take you from the airport to the centre of Barcelona. There are two main stops in the city, Plaza España (connecting with Metro Line 1-red and Line 3-green) and Plaza Catalunya (connecting with Metro Line 1-red and Line 3-green). There is a bus every 15 minutes approximately. Check the schedules.
* By taxi: It is a comfortable but expensive way to reach the citycentre. The journey to the city centre costs around 25-30 € , and an extra amount for every suitcase.
How to go to the Parque del Clot from any point in Barcelona:
* By Underground: It is the easiest way. The Parque del Clot is locatedabout 200m from the underground stop of Clot (Line 1 – red and Line 2 –
purple) and about 250 meters from the stop Glòries (Line 1 – red).
* By train: You can get to Clot with RENFE. Check timetables and lines.
The train line coming from the airport DOES NOT bring you to Clot.
* By bus: There are several bus lines that connect the Parque del Clot with other areas of Barcelona:7, 33, 43, 44, 56, 60, 92, B20, B21, B24, N2, N7 y N9. Check timetables and lines.
